 CCNM Press is dedicated to publishing college texts, clinical reference materials, scholarly monographs, consumer trade books, and corporate wellness guides in the field of naturopathic medicine, to further the advancement of the profession of naturopathic medicine and to teach the principles of healthy living and preventive medicine, better enabling naturopathic doctors to assist patients in the healing process.
CCNM Press publications are based on current medical and health research, fully referenced, and peer reviewed. They are authored by foremost scientific authorities and professors of naturopathic medicine. The production qualities of each publication are set at the highest standards for clear presentation of the information and ease of reader access.
Founded at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto, CCNM Press was incorporated in fall 2003 and first released books in spring 2004. This first list of books featured the title Healing Cancer, co-authored by Abram Hoffer , MD, and Linus Pauling, PhD, pioneers in the complementary and alternative health movement, as well as the best-selling title New Naturopathic Diet, written by Penny Kendall-Reed, ND, a CCNM graduate, and her partner, Stephen Reed, MD.
The executive director of CCNM Press is Robert Hilderley, who concurrently is Adjunct Professor of Technical and Scientific Communications at Queen’s University at Kingston, Ontario.
